AIRcable USB2™-to-Serial3

AIRcable USB2-to-Serial3 provides a fast, convenient way of connecting any computer with a USB port to any serial (RS 232) based device. The USB2-to-Serial3 removes the need of both, a serial to USB adapter cable, and any Bluetooth software on the PC. Because our device runs all the software needed, installation becomes as easy as plugging in the devices, and selecting the COM port.

Versatile Hardware

The AIRcable USB2-to-Serial3 comes with two distinct connectors: the AIRcable USB™, which plugs into the USB port of your computer, and the AIRcable Serial3, which is a DTE serial module that plugs into the serial (RS 232) port of your peripheral device. The AIRcable Serial3 module can be adapted to a female DCE serial module with the included null-modem adapter.

Every AIRcable Serial3 module is now shipped with a free null-modem adapter that is used to convert the AIRcable Serial3's male serial plug to a female serial plug and supports power through pin 9.

Having devices connected with the AIRcable USB2-to-Serial3 allows you to do everything you're use to doing with normal cables: printing, scanning, etc, and all at the speed of a high-bandwidth network connection. By using an AIRcable, you eliminate the unnecessary tangling of cables in your home, or office, while giving you the freedom and flexibility of moving your equipment without re-cabling up to 30-50 ft (the wireless range).
