Setup Guide

 

The Optieyes camera provides a simple serial profile service (SPP) over Bluetooth.

Once establishing a connection to it with PIN code "1234" and sending a start command ("$GENIESYS0002\r\n"), the Optieyes provide a stream of JPEG images. This is also called M-JPEG.

Beside the applications available for Symbian and Windows platforms we have example source code available on the OpenSensors.org web site and on Google Code.

We have a first pre-alpha version of the AIRcable Camera Android application. It is based on Python scripting language for Android SL4A. Try it here.
